Impact on Movement

By the early 1800s, the need for ways to transport goods led to improvements in
transportation.
People moved from the farms to the cities to work. A new way of living and
working was being created. Improvements in transportation meant people
as well as goods could travel more easily.
As the demand for manufactured goods
increased, so did the need for more workers.

HERE ARE SOME CHANGES:

1)
Horse drawn travel is the most common transportation.
2)Steamboats begin to transport goods down rivers.
3)Canals are built to link waterways.
4)
Many railroads are built.
5)Canal building slows down.
6)Industries grow more quickly and need more workers.
7)
Workers find jobs more easily.
